School Counseling Program
TESTING INFORMATION
The School Counseling staff is always
available to assist students in planning for college admission testing.
Students may pick up registration material for both the SAT and the ACT programs
in the School Counseling office at any time. Each test is offered six times
throughout the school year. Although Mt. Abraham is not a testing site,
students may take the test at neighboring high schools. Students may
register with the traditional paper registration forms or online by following
the appropriate link below.
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is also available to Mt Abe students. Traditionally
used as a placement test for the military, the ASVAB has a career awareness
component that can be very useful for any student. The
test is offered at the Vergennes National Guard Armory. Any student in
grades eleven and twelve may sign up to take the ASVAB. Please call Sgt. Lang at 877-3504 to schedule an appointment to take the test. Follow this link for more information

Parents and students who have questions regarding any of
these tests, or registration procedures and forms, should contact
their school counselor.
