Introductory Art is meant to be a first high school visual art class, introducing the other art classes through a series of projects that include color, design, drawing, painting, and sculpture. The only prerequisites are an open mind and a willingness to try. The goal of the class is to learn foundational art skills, techniques and concepts using a variety of art media.
 This is a prerequisite for many art courses.
