The purpose of Jewelry Design Two is to continue to explore jewelry as an art form. Students will use sawing, filing and soldering techniques to make rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants and necklaces using brass, copper and sterling silver. Methods for setting stones, copper etching and enameling will be introduced. Emphasis will be on students designing and creating finished jewelry pieces. One small scale metal sculpture piece will be included. Selected pieces will be presented at the annual Fine Arts Festival.
