The purpose of Jewelry Design and Exploration is to introduce jewelry as an art form. Students will study jewelry from many cultures and learn techniques to make rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces using brass, copper and sterling silver. Techniques will include cold fastenings and soldering. Selected pieces will be presented at the annual Fine Arts Festival.
