Sculpture builds on skills learned in introductory level visual arts classes. Through a series of projects, students will explore design principles using a variety of materials to create 3-dimensional art. Problem-solving is emphasized as students use additive, subtractive, and manipulation of form to create both representational and abstract sculptures.
Prerequisite: Introductory Art, Art Media or Ceramics 1 or permission from instructor
