Organization (Actor's Script)
Have actors plainly planned and prepared beforehand?

Prior planning is obvious. Actors' scripts are complete with notes about actions & movement. Actors' scripts show some prior planning during rehearsal. Yes Do actors create plans during rehearsal? No Disorganization causes some confusion, OR plans are put together the day of the scene. Little organization is visible, OR scripts are not turned in with actor notes.
Voice/Dialogue
Do the actors sound like real people speaking? Is their tone appropriate for the scene?
Spoken parts seem like actual dialogue, and are believable for the characters being acted. Actors develop realistic characters, OR speech seems authentic. Yes Do actors maintain their stage identity? No Some characterization is attempted, OR actors attempt real dialogue. Little or no attempt is made to sound like characters; dialogue sounds recited rather than believable.
Movement/Action
Can you tell what is happening? Are the actors acting or just standing around on stage?
Actions and movement are well- planned, and enhance the scene. Some actions seem out of place, or do not add to the scene. Yes Have actors used action to communicate meaning? No Performance lacks realistic action, which may distract the audience. Performance is merely spoken and not acted, OR mis- acting detracts from the scene.
Memorization
Have the actors really worked to memorize their lines, or are they hoping to get by?
Few or no errors are present, or changes are intentional and are effective. Some errors, or patterns of errors, are present. Yes Have actors made a real attempt at memorization? No Numerous errors are present, and may distract the audience. Errors interfere with understanding, or distract audience from the scene.
Props/Costumes
Do the actors have costumes to identify the characters they are playing, and props to aid the action of the scene?
  Extra effort is apparent in costumes & props. Simple yet distinctive costumes readily identify the characters.  Props help action of the scene. Yes Do actors have costumes and props that help portray the scene? No Costumes are rushed, or do not help identify characters.  Props are inappropriate or distracting.  Props and/or costumes are nonexistent.
